Recording Journal: Day 11 – Guitars, Bass

Hey dudes!

Today was a short session, since we are now taking part in the national pastime of over-eating and rooting against specific teams out of spite. I am definitely pulling for the Packers by the way.

Today I added some bass (Fender American Precision Bass into an Ampeg SVT 4 tube head) and some electric guitar (Fender ’72 Telecaster Thinline into a Marshall JCM2000 DSL 201 tube amp). I cleaned up the bass and guitar on “American Buffalo” and added electric guitar to “Your Bronzed Apple”. That was about it besides a bit of editing, but sometimes you just need a day off folks.

In other news, we have a show this week, Thursday February 10th at Westfield State with our good friend Jimmy’s new project Young Minds. The show starts at 7pm in the Main Campus Building (577 Western Avenue, Westfield, MA). Be there!

Here is what we did today:

“American Buffalo”
Bass guitar (Fender American Precision Bass), completed
Rhythm guitar (Fender ’72 Telecaster Thinline), completed

“Your Bronzed Apple”
Lead guitar (clean), (Fender ’72 Telecaster Thinline), completed
