Lion Cub reviewed @ Polk Records, New Shows in Western MA

Hey guys!

We hope all is well and you’re enjoying the autumn. I’ve been reading a lot of Robert Frost, which is pretty perfect for this time of year, especially the poems from ‘A Boy’s Will’, specifically “October” and “My November Guest”. Check them out.

The lovely folks over at Polk Records have posted a very kind review of our new album, ‘Seneca’ on their blog, which you can read here. Al, who runs Polk Records, has been a great friend to us, always helping us out with shows and is always the loudest man in the crowd, so we thank him.

Lastly, tonight we are playing at UMass Amherst and the Agricultural Engineering Building as part of the new season of shows being put on by DIY UMass. Our friends Deceivers are also playing, and the DIY folks are only asking for donations, so please come out, it will be awesome. Relive those halcyon days of seeing punk bands in random school buildings!

Also, we are playing Thursday, October 21st at the Flywheel in Easthampton with the amazing David Dondero. David is on Team Love Records and if you aren’t familiar with his records you really ought to. He is fantastic.

We look forward to seeing you folks, thanks!
